Terms of Use
Last updated 15 September 2026.
These terms describe the rules for using LeaseLore's website and mobile app, including resident reviews and related tools. LeaseLore is operated by Buhane Information Technologies. Contact us at [email protected].
1. Using LeaseLore
LeaseLore helps people share and discover experiences of homes and neighbourhoods. Please read these terms before creating an account or contributing. Use the service lawfully and respect the rights and safety of other people. If you cannot agree to these rules, do not submit content or use an account.
You must have the legal capacity or any legally required parent or guardian permission to use the service. Do not use LeaseLore if applicable law prevents you from doing so.
2. Accounts and access
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for the information you submit. Do not impersonate another person, share administrator access or attempt to access another account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. Do not send passwords or verification codes to support.
A public alias or an anonymous review does not mean that no account or security records exist. Anonymous or guest sign-in may also limit your ability to recover access after changing devices or clearing app data.
3. Honest resident reviews
Only describe experiences you genuinely had, select the correct address and relationship to the home, and distinguish facts from opinions. Do not post fabricated reviews, undisclosed paid endorsements, duplicate submissions intended to manipulate a score, threats, hate speech, harassment, unlawful allegations or unrelated advertising.
Do not publish names of private individuals, contact details, access codes, identification documents, financial information or other unnecessary personal information. Do not upload material you do not have permission to share. Optional verification evidence must only be submitted through the designated private process, not included in public review text.
4. Moderation, reports and appeals
Reviews and new addresses are checked before publication. We may request clarification, redact personal information, decline publication or remove content where it breaches these rules, appears fraudulent, creates a safety risk or must be restricted by law. Submission does not guarantee publication or a particular review time.
Moderation is not a building inspection or a guarantee that every statement is accurate. To report content, use the in-app report control or email support with the relevant address or review reference and your reasons. To ask us to reconsider a moderation or account decision, contact [email protected]. We will consider the information you provide. Do not include sensitive documents in the initial email.
5. Your content and our materials
You retain ownership of content you create. By submitting it, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format and display it as needed to operate LeaseLore, moderate submissions and produce property scores. This includes use by service providers acting for us for those purposes. Private evidence is not licensed for public display or advertising.
When content is withdrawn, we stop displaying it publicly. Limited internal copies may remain where needed for moderation, security, dispute handling or applicable legal obligations. Personal information remains subject to applicable privacy rights; see our deletion information.
LeaseLore's branding, software and original website materials belong to their respective rights holders. You may use the service for its intended purpose, but must not copy or misrepresent our branding or circumvent protections on our systems.
6. Scores, maps and housing decisions
Reviews are individual experiences and scores summarise available contributions. Coverage may be incomplete, information may become outdated, and geocoded addresses or map pins can be inaccurate. Check an address before reviewing it.
LeaseLore is not a letting agent, surveyor, emergency service or legal adviser. A score is not a certification of safety, habitability or legal compliance. Inspect a property, verify important information independently and obtain appropriate professional advice before a housing or financial decision. For an immediate danger, contact the relevant emergency services.
Maps, authentication and other third-party services may have their own terms and privacy notices. Their credits remain visible where required. We are responsible for our own service obligations; using a third-party provider does not remove your rights against us.
7. Service availability and changes
Beta access may be limited by country, capacity or testing needs. Requesting access does not guarantee an invitation. We may interrupt access for maintenance, security incidents or technical failures, and change features to improve reliability or respond to legal requirements. We will give reasonable notice of material service changes where practical.
These terms do not authorise a subscription or payment. Any future paid offering will explain its price and additional terms before you agree to buy it.
8. Account restrictions and deletion
We may restrict an account where reasonably necessary to address a material breach of these rules, abuse, a security threat or a legal obligation. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and how to contact us about the decision. Urgent protective action may be taken first.
You may stop using LeaseLore at any time and request account deletion in Profile or through support. Signing out alone does not delete an account. The support page explains the records removed, reviews withdrawn and internal records not automatically erased.
9. Privacy and optional analytics
Our Privacy Notice explains mobile-app and website processing, account controls, beta requests and optional Google Analytics. Analytics consent is separate from these terms. Rejecting analytics does not limit access to the website or administrator sign-in.
10. Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any responsibility or remedy that the law does not allow us to exclude. Applicable consumer guarantees and mandatory protections remain in place. These terms do not require private arbitration or prevent you from contacting a regulator or bringing a claim in a court available to you under applicable law.
11. Changes and contact
We may revise these terms to reflect service changes, prevent abuse or meet legal requirements. We will publish the revised version and date, provide reasonable notice of material changes where practical, and seek renewed agreement where required. Changes do not remove rights that have already arisen.
